Nova Mar Bella beach

Like the neighbouring Mar Bella beach, the Nova Mar Bella is the result of the urban renewal that took place for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. This beach is a firm favourite with Barceloneta locals and is one of the most peaceful in the city.

All city beaches have reserved parking with accessible routes to the dry beach area, signage and visual and tactile information, adapted toilets, adapted showers, and wooden walkways that reach as close to the water as possible. Public transport is also adapted to access the beaches from anywhere in the city.

Barcelona's beaches are currently smoke-free spaces. Smoking is prohibited on the beach.
