Accessibility details

Turisme de Barcelona staff have been trained to assist visitors with special needs.
Motor impairment
The usual entrance is on Carrer Ciutat, just off the Plaça Sant Jaume, but it has a step and no ramp. For this reason, we have made an alternative entrance which can be accessed from inside City Hall. You can enter through the main door in the square; the information office is on your left.
Visual impairment
You can hire remote-control units that activate the acoustic signals at the city’s traffic lights and some of the bus shelters around the city.

Guide dog
Hearing impairment
The information desk is fitted with a magnetic loop. Please ask us to switch it on so that we can better inform you.
